I wish I had time to follow carnival. They look like so much fun. Oh well, when the kids are grown I shall be able to join the blog carnivals and memes. Until then I will live vicariously through the rest of you.
I read your "About Me" page. I suspect we would get along well in real life. [Then I wanted children – a dozen!] Me too. I am an RN; I keep my license active. I haven't been at a patients bedside in almost 5 years and would never feel comfortable going back to work without a refresher course.
I come from a church with a non-liturgical tradition. I have only "done" Lent for about 3 years. I decided this year to call my preparation "Karant Jou," Haitian Kreyol for 40 days. I am pretty sure I am doing my own thing and thought I should have my own name.
