The Nativity in Movies

Need an escape from the hustle and bustle?  Take some time to watch The Nativity in Movies

This film is a compilation of nine films from 1905 - 2006 depicting the portrayal of the birth of Christ.   Though this compilation primarily revolves around The Nativity Story (2006) starring Keisha Castle-Hughes and Oscar Isaac, pivotal points are emphasized by older versions of the story in film.  It is set to contemporary music with a wonderful balance between the dialog and music.

Here are some fun facts about The Nativity Story

I know it is hard to find the time  (a little over and hour long) this time of year but the film is so worthwhile as we remember the Reason for the season!

Thanks for your positive comments on my movie. Yes, the original version of it was very dependent upon "The Nativity," primarily because I felt its quality clearly surpassed the other films (although a few key details in the other films are omitted in "The Nativity"). There is now a new version of "The Nativity in Movies" using 12 films, rather than 9, and I think each section is improved. The new version is less dependent upon the film "The Nativity," although it is still fairly prominent. The new version is higher quality and is in ten files rather than one, each file corresponding to a division of the film. You can find the new edition on youtube.com. Even though Christmas is past, I hope you will still take a look--and perhaps download a copy for next Christmas. Thanks again for the complements!

If for any reason you cannot locate all of the sections, you can go to my youtube page and find them. See www.youtube.com/user/DonaldRatcliff. There is also a similar compilation titled "Holy Week in Movies."
Blessings,
