First of all, thank you for your blog! :) I homeschool my boys, and will eventually be homeschooling my daughter with Ds, though we are not there yet. So, I'm just soaking up everything you write (and will be adding the other blogs you are linking to my "follow" list) in hopes that I can stand on all of your shoulders when my daughter is school age.

We homeschool! Goldie will be 4 tomorrow and has two older sisters that are homeschooled. Right now we are just working on preschool stuff. I blog about it when I get a chance. Www.livinforthelove.blogspot.com

We are homeschooling our 4 yr old with Down syndrome. We have been working on reading sight words since she was very little, but are now adding math, & fun science & geography as she get a little older.

What perfect timing! Can't wait to check out everybody's blogs!!!! I've been homeschooling for 10 years, blogging for 2 months. I have 7 wacky wonders between 16 and 2. My 5-year-old, Noah, has Down syndrome and was recently diagnosed with apraxia. My blog's focus is on visual learning with lots of free printables for ASL and PECS. I'm having a blast and absolutely LOVE the online blogging community.

Blessings,
Alyson

Alyson, I love your blog! I find it transparent and encouraging. You are living out your calling in a thoughtful way with the Lord. It really doesn't get better than this!

I found your blog while searching for information about home schooling children with Ds. We have 3 little girls with Ds, ages 4, 3 & 2. The 2 oldest girls attend a special needs preschool, but we're very hesitant to put them into public school beyond that. We very much want to home school the girls, and feel blessed to have found your blog and the links to others on here! :)

Kindest regards,
